Go Big For Hunger is partnering with local restaurant owners who want to help raise money and help defeat Maine’s childhood hunger crisis. To start, each participating restaurant will add a Go Big For Hunger donation line to guest checks. Customers will write the donation on the bill or tell the server how much to add. Donations will be totaled and contributed directly to local 501C3 organizations feeding hungry Maine kids.

Because Maine’s restaurant community is generous and innovative, other creative giving opportunities are already being discussed. Additionally, money will be raised by music artist, individually and through larger concerts. Go Bg For Hunger’s intends to start small and carefully expand, as trust and credibility build and more restaurants choose to become partners.  ​
